PRIMARY DUTIES: Will collaborate with the Department of State Health Services Public Health Information Network (PHIN) central office staff, Health Services Region 9/10 regional staff and community stakeholders in the local jurisdiction to support the critical functions of the PHIN. Maintain information technology equipment at the Ector County Health Department and maintain other equipment such as the Sensaphone temperature monitoring software for proper performance and perform other duties as assigned by the Public Health Preparedness Program Manager and the Director of the Ector County Health Department. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Some college education, two years preferred from an accredited college or university with no specifics on course work. Candidates will be evaluated on a case by base basis. Has completed or will complete TDSHS or TDSHS approved public health preparedness education/training programs. Must have experience with use of basic computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and interest applications; have knowledge and ability to operate within a Windows computer environment; be able to type 40+wpm; file alphabetically and numerically; have legible handwriting and have a valid Texas Driver’s license with an insurable driving record and reliable transportation.
